Ken Curran

Ken Curran has been involved in public life for over 60 years. During this time he has served on two local Councils, been a Trades Union Officer for South Yorkshire, and an Local Education Authority (LEA) School Governor.

A renowned political philosopher, Ken has been a guest speaker at Sheffield Hallam University, and written pamphlets on his concerns over the social and economic impact of climate change.
Ken serves as a director at Enable, MaTrec, and Workbase, in addition to chairing Manor Assembly and Manor & Castle Development Trust.

A founding South Sheffield Partnership Director, Ken was re-elected in 2007, saying “I am interested in the social and economic future of South Sheffield in order that we are able to influence policy and wellbeing of the community”
